So, I'm the stereotypical Girls Minister in the sense that I like to wear make-up and cute clothes... and, yes, I even look at Pinterest. But even I like to do some "manual labor" every now and again. So I decided I would assemble some chairs we needed in our youth office.
2 hours later.... I finished!! I didn't think that was bad timing, until I realized that last month a group of young men at our church, assembled 2 identical chairs in 1 hour. So much for a world record in chair assembly.
As I began this process though, much to my surprise, building this chair,
only required this tool. Just this one little wrench!
Sadly, it wasn't until I was working on the second chair that I discovered that I was NOT using the wrench to its full capacity! Who would have guessed that you could use both sides of this wrench to turn the bolts?! For those of you who haven't built a chair in a while, take my word for it: When I used both the long and short sides of the wrench at the appropriate time, it cut my assembly time in half!!!
What's the point in telling this story?? This weekend I was talking with some of the SSM girls about spiritual gifts, and they informed me that they don't know what their spiritual gifts are... which means unfortunately, (at no fault to them!!), but when we don't know what God has equipped us with, we are not always able to be used to our full capacity for the Lord. It's like He's only getting to use one side of our "wrench". :)
So, if you don't know your spiritual gifts, here's an online inventory to take.

It's not perfect, but it can point you in the right direction! You could also ask your parents or some Christian mentors if they would tell you the gifts that they have observed in you. :) If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!
In Him,
HB
